• 생태적특징

    조간대 하부에서 100m 범위의 모래에 서식한다.

• 형태적특징

    패각은 길이가 15mm 내외로 얇고 부서지기 쉬우며 좌우로 부풀어 있다. 외면에는 자갈색의 반점 무늬가 있다. 각정은 중앙에 솟아있다. 방사륵은 패각의 뒤쪽에서 뚜렷하고 앞쪽에서 약하게 나타난다.
