• 생태적특징

    조간대 중부에서 조하대 상부 사이의 펄에 서식한다.

• 형태적특징

    패각은 길이가 20mm 내외의 삼각형 모양으로 얇고 좌우로 납작하다. 외면은 백색 또는 분흥색을 띠며 성장맥이 뚜렷하다. 각정은 중앙에 위치하며 앞쪽 등면은 짧고 뒤쪽은 길며 그 끝이 좁아져 끝 가장자리에서 뾰족해진다. 뒤쪽 등면에는 둔한 능각이 비스듬하게 뻗어 있다. 내면은 백색 바탕에 분홍색을 띤다. 주치는 2개이고 측치는 없다. 전·후폐각근흔은 뚜렷하고 외투막흔은 크고 깊게 만입한다.
