• 생태적특징

    조간대의 수심 20m의 모래펄에 서식한다.

• 형태적특징

    패각은 길이가 25mm 내외의 길쭉한 삼각형 모양으로 얇고 좌우로 납작하다. 외면은 연분홍색 또는 황백색의 광택이 있다. 각정은 중앙에 위치하며 그 뒤로 인대가 길게 위치한다. 성장맥은 뚜렷하다. 앞쪽 등면이 뒤쪽보다 높으며 뒤쪽 등면은 끝이 좁아지며 배 쪽 가장자리는 편평하다. 외투막흔의 만입은 크고 깊다.
