    종설명(Description)

    •   세포는 원반상으로 단독성이거나 평평한 군체를 이룬다. 세포는 단단한 점액질로 된 돌출물이 환각면에서 나와 둥근 날개 모양을 하며, 색소체는 작고 원반상이다.

    •   세포는 단독성으로 원판형이며 뚜껑면 맨틀에서 유기 물질의 Lobes이 뻗어 나온다. Lobes 는 6개에서 9개까지 수가 다양하다. 뚜껑면은 평평하고 접선 방향 선무늬가 있다. 엽록체는 분산되어 있으며, 중앙 뚜껑면의 뚜껑면 지름은 34~50 µm이고 lobes가지의 크기는 50~72 µm 이다.
