• 생태적특징

    조간대 하부에서 조하대의 바위나, 조개껍데기 등에 부착한다.

• 형태적특징

    패각은 길이가 65mm 내외로 둥근 삼각형이다. 우각은 바위에 부착하는 면으로 편평하고 좌각은 각정 부근이 부풀어 있으며 거친 방사륵이 있다. 좌각의 내면은 백색에 청색의 진주 광택을 띠며 중앙에 큰 원형의 족사근흔이 있고 그 아래에는 다소 작은 폐각근흔이 있다. 우각의 내면은 각정 아래에 난형의 족사개구가 있다.
