종설명(Description)

지각류는 연안 및 하구역에서 상대적으로 염분이 낮고, 유동성이 적은 반폐쇄적인 지형에서 먹이조건이 충족되면 일시적으로 대량 발생하는 특성을 보인다.

몸은 Evadne nordmanii와 흡시하나 두부가 약간 큰 편이다. 배각은 몸의 뒤쪽으로 뻗어 있고 뒤끝은 둥글다. 흉각은 내엽과 외엽으로 이루어져 있으며 각 흉각의 외엽 말단부의 극모의 수는 2-3-3-1 이다.
