• 생태적특징

    조하대 20~200m 범위의 고운 모래펄에 서식한다.

• 형태적특징

    패각은 높이 약 13mm, 폭 5mm로 얇은 길쭉한 난형이다. 표면은 백색을 띤다. 체층은 아래로 내려갈수록 폭이 넓어진다. 각정은 패각의 안쪽으로 함몰되어 있어 각구의 외순이 각정보다 높다. 각정 주변에 각이 있고, 나층이 함몰되어 구멍처럼 보인다. 각구는 상대적으로 좁고 길며, 축순에 주름이 있다.
