중국의 실내 먼지 등을 통해 공기에 부유하고 있다는 기록이 있으며 담수로부터 분리된 기록도 있다.

CYA배지에서 균총(25℃, 7일) 직경이 15~17mm이고 적당히 깊은 홈이 있다. 균사는 옅은 노란색이며 벨벳상이다. 포자 형성은 적당히 빽빽하며 분생포자의 색은 올리브 녹색이다. 침출액은 나타나지 않으며 수용성 색소 또한 나타나지 않는다. 배지 뒷면은 옅은 노란색에서 갈색빛 도는 노란색이다. MEA배지에서 균총(25℃, 7일) 직경이 15~17mm이고 적당한 깊이의 홈이 있다. 균사는 흰색을 띠며 벨벳상이고 분생포자는 올리브 녹색에서 푸른 빛을 띠는 녹색을 띤다.
